The Power of 30 Seconds
A PSA on Mental Wellness
What can you say in 30 seconds? Enough to shift perspective. Enough to encourage pause. Enough to plant the seed of change.
Created as part of a broadcast-style PSA development assignment, this piece tackles a modern epidemic, mental exhaustion, with quiet intentionality. The objective: develop a short-form television PSA that informs and motivates action while remaining practical to produce and emotionally resonant with viewers.
The result is a campaign that eschews sensationalism in favor of subtle power. The video follows the quiet routine of a young professional moving through stress and into stillness, not through grand gestures, but through small, restorative choices.
From the scripting to the production design, every element was crafted to evoke peace without sacrificing aesthetic impact. The call to action leads viewers to Mental Health America (mhanational.org), a trusted nonprofit offering tools, resources, and support for those looking to prioritize their mental well-being.
This project is a reminder that visual storytelling doesn’t need to be loud to leave a mark; it just needs to be true.
